What this tool answers
You need a first-pass heat-press platen class before buying. Enter design width and height in inches. The calculator names the smallest class - 12x15, 15x15, or 16x20 - that can fit that rectangle with rotation allowed, or returns NO_MATCH. It is not a temperature or dwell-time chart.
Why platen size matters
Transfers that overhang the platen print poorly and risk scorching. Matching the artwork rectangle to published platen size avoids buying a press that cannot cover the design.
Class ladder on this site
Classes use published VEVOR US heat-press platen claims checked 2026-09-10: 12x15, 15x15, and 16x20 inches. Matching rule: smallest class where (w<=pw and h<=ph) or (w<=ph and h<=pw).
When the answer is NO_MATCH
If the design does not fit any class even with rotation, this site returns NO_MATCH. Typical next steps: a larger industrial platen or splitting the artwork.
